J. Lucian (Luke) Davis
Dr. Reingold's current research interests include prevention of transmission of HIV in developing countries, the intersection of the HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis epidemics, malaria in Uganda, emerging and re-emerging infections in the US and globally, sexual transmission of hepatitis C virus, vaccine-preventable diseases, and respiratory infections in childhood.
Dr. Davis is a pulmonary/critical care physician and epidemiologist seeking to improve diagnostic evaluation and case finding for tuberculosis (TB) using translational research and implementation science. He mentors master's and doctoral students on TB and other pulmonary complications of HIV/AIDS in Uganda.

Achilles Katamba
Dr. Katamba oversees the PART program as well as mentors Ugandan physicians, scientists and other investigators to improve research skills in translational research. He has extensive experience working on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis projects as well as many other infectious diseases.
